Protear 10 ml

Each ml contains povidone (colidon 17 PF) 50 mg (mg).
Excipients: sodium chloride, potassium chloride, calcium chloride dihydrate, magnesium chloride, boric acid, sodium lactate solution, sodium perborate, sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid, water for injections.

Raw materials: Povidone: BASF SE, Germany.

• With a feeling of burning, itching, photophobia, irritation, dryness and tiredness of the eyes, caused by a decrease in production or absence of the secretion of the lacrimal glands.
• In patients with severe ocular allergies, Protear is useful as it forms a protective layer that blocks allergens – pollen and dust mites;
• It can be used as a detoxifier .
• It is also sometimes used for corneal ulcers as it covers the cornea with a protective film and therefore helps in the healing process.
• May help contact lens usurers, those who complains of dry eyes.
• Can be useful after surgery and laser interventions to compensate for the deficiency of the tear film layer. Before use, please consult with doctor.

Method of application and dosage:

Shake the bottle well before use. Adults 1-2 drops in one eye 3-4 times a day. If necessary, it can be used more often.
Before using the drops, contact lenses should be removed and installed not earlier than after 30 minutes after instillation.
When using additional drops, the interval between instillations should be at least 30 minutes. “Protear” should always be the last.

How to use Protear eye drops:

Remove the cap from the bottle. Hold the bottle upside down in one hand between the thumb and middle finger. Bring the tip of the bottle to your eye. Do not let it touch your eyes. Dispense one drop into the conjunctival sac formed between your eye and the eyelid by lightly tapping or pressing the base of the vial with your index finger (see picture). Do not squeeze the bottle.
